Florence C. Rindt, 87, of Kewaskum, went home to her Lord on Friday, December 17, 2010.
She was born on June 20, 1923, in Racine, the daughter of the late Stephen and Eleanor (Ceranowski) Szczepanski, and on May 25, 1946, she was united in marriage to Leonard E. Rindt at St. Stanislaus Church in Racine. The couple made their home in the Clintonville area for a number of years until moving to Kewaskum in 1952. Leonard preceded Florence in death on September 18, 2007.
Florence was employed as the secretary to the vice president of Regal Ware Inc. in Kewaskum and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum for 58 years.
Those Florence leaves behind to cherish her memory include two sons, Jim (Diane) Rindt of Kewaskum and Jack (Roxanne) Rindt of West Bend; her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Jeff (Jackie) Rindt and their children, Bradley and Elizabeth of Campbellsport; Mike (Michele) Rindt and their children, Caden and Carsen of Appleton; Steve (Jenny) Rindt of West Bend; Scott (Bonnie) Rindt of Kewaskum; Sherry (Steve) Gerhartz and their children, Frederick and Leopold of West Bend and Richard (Kristin) Rindt and their children, Caden and Lily of Jackson; a brother-in-law, Chester Szymczak of Racine; a sister-in-law, Linda Walters of West Bend; an aunt, Irene Wichgers of Las Vegas, Nevada, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Florence was preceded in death by a brother, Roman (Florence) Szczepanski; two sisters, Caroline Szymczak and Lucille (Mark) Rebhahn; 11 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their spouses, Ella (Ernst) Buntrock, Adela (Adolph) Kuschel, Emma (Herb) Sievers, Amanda (John) Mischock, Edwin (Esther) Rindt, Esther (Truman) Balke, Arnold (Leona) Rindt, Viola (Lester) Knaack, Fronie (Oscar) Siegel, Art (Milly) Rindt and Clarence Rindt.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Florence was held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 22, 2010, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends called on Wednesday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
