Florence H. Wiese, (nee Kressin), age 88, of Cedar Ridge in West Bend and former resident of the Village at Cedar Community in West Bend, was born to eternal life on Friday, November 23, 2007, at St. Joseph's Hospital in the town of Polk.
Florence was born on April 20, 1919 in Jackson, WI to the late William and Louisa (nee Prahl) Kressin. She was united in marriage to Erwin Wiese on July 3, 1943 at David's Star Ev. Lutheran Church in Jackson. Erwin preceded Florence in death on February 11, 1999. Florence was a long time member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in West Bend.
Florence was the beloved mother of Patricia Wiese (Sylvester Nieznanski), Kathleen (Robert) Powers, Sandra (David) Duncan, and Cheryl (Andrew) Wasilczuk. She was further survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many other dear relatives and friends.
A funeral service in honor of Florence will be held on Tuesday, November 27, at 4:00 pm at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church (809 S. 6th St. West Bend). Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, at the church, from 1:30 pm until the time of service at 4:00 pm. Memorials to the Lake Country Lutheran High School in Oconomowoc would be greatly appreciated by the family.
