Frances J. Wiesner

Frances J. Wiesner, 89 of Brownsville passed away on March 10, 2025 at Serenity Villa in Campbellsport. Born on December 19, 1935, daughter of the late Alex and Margarette Sippel. Frances graduated from St. Mary’s Springs High School in Fond du Lac. On July 10, 1954, she married Alvin Wiesner at St. Bridget Catholic Church. They were blessed with nine wonderful children. She was a lifelong member of St. Kilian Chapel.

Frances had many interests, including Bowling until she was 87, playing cards, golfing, and spending time with her loving grandchildren and attending their sporting events.

Frances is survived by her loving husband Alvin of 70 years; children Barb (Joe) Ertl of Arizona, Allen (Debbie) of Kewaskum, Cindy Martin of Kewaskum (Friend Todd Kisting), Don (Vicki) of North Fond du Lac, Mary (Roger) Zorn of Newburg, Elaine (Dave) Cordes of St. Kilian, Bev (Dan) Werbelow of Kewaskum, Jean Wiesner of Fond du Lac and Scot Wiesner of LaFarge; brothers Ray (Joann) Sippel and Andy Sippel; sisters-in-law Jan Wiesner and Linda Schaefer; brothers-in-law John Beck and Manny Batzler; 19 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by other family and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Alex and Margarette, infant son Joseph, in-laws Alvin Sr. and Clara Wiesner, sisters-in-law Roseann Sippel, Donna Batzler, and Pat Beck, brother-in-law Ollie Wiesner and son-in-law Gary Martin.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025 at 4 pm at St. Kilian Chapel (189 County Rd. W, Campbellsport). Visitation will be from 2 pm until the time of Mass with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. Private burial will be in the parish cemetery.
