Gary "Big Bird" Pasko, age 55, of Mayville, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee.
Gary was born on June 7, 1957 in Port Washington to John and Adeline (nee Schmaus) Pasko. He was a graduate of Cedarburg High School and was a proud, long-time employee of Metalcraft of Mayville.
Gary is survived by his loving brother, Ron (Lora) Pasko; his nieces, Carrie (Chad) Hallblade and Dana (Daniel) Dufek; many cousins; other relatives; and friends.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, John Pasko; his beloved mother, Adeline Stehlik; and his step-father, Chuck Stehlik.
A memorial service in honor of Gary will be held on Monday, March 11th at 7:00 pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church (16 South Walnut St. Mayville). Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 5:00 pm until the time of service.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Gary's close friend Jerome as well as to the emergency responders of Mayville and Kekoskee, flight for life, and the incredible burn unit staff at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee for their heroic efforts and the amazing care that was given to Gary.
