Gary Raybern

August 17, 1946 — November 18, 2012

Gary L. Raybern, age 66, of West Bend, passed away on November 18, 2012 at the Aurora VNA Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa.

He was born on August 17, 1946 in Fond du Lac to the late James and Vivian (nee Grothe) Raybern. Gary served his country honorably in the United States Navy.

He worked as a programmer/programmer analyst for Heritage Mutual Insurance Company, retiring in 2008.

Gary was a member of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church, Fred A. Schaefer VFW Post #1392, West Bend Masonic Lodge #138, and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed photography, and bowling.

He is survived by his two children, Crystal Raybern and Dion (Danielle) Raybern, both of Oshkosh; three grandchildren, Georgia, Bryce, and Dekota Raybern; one sister, Donna (David) Krutz of Kewaunee; two nieces, Lisa and Holly Krutz, both of Sheboygan; two aunts, Vyonne Bahrs of Oshkosh and Donna (Louis) Van Den Boom of California; one uncle, Robert Grothe of Red Granite; other relatives and friends.

A Masonic service in remembrance of Gary will be held on Wednesday, November 21st at 3:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St. West Bend. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Jeremy Deaner of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will be Friday, November 23rd in Highland Memorial Park in Appleton.

Memorials to Zilber Family Hospice or the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center in Slinger are appreciated by the family.
