Georgiana A. Kirchner, 73, of West Bend, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Select Specialty Hospital in West Allis.
She was born on August 23, 1933, in the town of Barton, the daughter of the late Jacob and Evelyn (Koenings) Reiland and on May 14, 1955, she was united in marriage to Howard Kirchner at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Georgiana was employed at Amity Leather Products and helped on the farm. She enjoyed crafts, fishing trips to Big Sand Lake in northern Wisconsin and her grandchildren. Georgiana was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Those left to await the reunion in heaven include her husband of 52 years, Howard; two children, Robert (Amanda) Kirchner of Kewaskum and Laura (Dennis) Batterman of Mayville; four grandchildren, Aleshia and Austin Kirchner and Steven and Melissa Batterman; three step-grandchildren, Paige, Tyler and Bobbi Schultz; a sister, Gloria (Virgil) Weinreich of Newburg; a sister-in-law, Rosemary (Norman) Kempf of Campbellsport, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Georgiana was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob Reiland, Jr.
Funeral services for Georgiana were held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, 2007, at St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Drive, Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and burial was at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in Lutheran Memorial Park in Kewaskum.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services.
