Gerald E. "Jerry" Mann, age 63, of West Bend, entered into eternal life peacefully at home on Monday, February 2, 2009.
He was born on June 1, 1945 to the late Harry and Gertrude Mann in Milwaukee, WI. He was united in marriage to Sarah Kemp, on August 24, 1963. Jerry was the owner, operator of Transport Engineering. He loved to fish and play with his dogs. He enjoyed woodworking and used his creativity to benefit others. Most of all, he enjoyed being with his family.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sarah; his dear children, Mark (Heidi) Mann and Edward Mann; his 2 adoring grandchildren, Sarah and Amelia LaDuke; his brother, Michael (JoAnn) Mann; his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, many close friends and 4-legged pals.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Susan J. LaDuke; his parents; and a brother-in-law.
A funeral service in honor of Jerry will be held, Saturday, February 7th at 1:00 p.m. at the Myrhum~Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington Street). Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will be in Washington County Memorial Park. Memorials are welcome.
