Gerald Joseph Wolf, 76, of West Bend, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Kathy Hospice after a courageous struggle with ALS.
Jerry was born on January 31, 1938 to the late Leo and Irene(Ermer) Wolf in West Bend, WI. After graduating from West Bend High School he honorably served his country in the United States Navy. On February 27, 1993, after 28 years of service, he retired from the West Bend Fire Department as a Lieutenant. Jerry was a long time member of the Kettle Moraine YMCA. His love of fitness and health inspired everyone around him.
He is survived by his four children, Mike Wolf of West Bend, Michelle (Kenny) Daniels of Clifton, CO, Chris (Elaine Ehley) Wolf of Eagle, CO, and Jennifer Wolf of Grand Junction, CO; three grandchildren, Alexandrea Wolf, Michael Wolf, and Joshua Wolf; a sister Evelyn (Marvin) Wolf; two brothers, Kenny Wolf and Ron (Patsy) Wolf; nieces and nephews; and numerous close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dave Wolf; and sister in-law, Birdie Wolf.
Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, with a family remembrance to follow on Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St, West Bend.
