Geraldine C. Brettingen, 81, of Kewaskum, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2008, at Beechwood Rest Home in Beechwood.
She was born on August 22, 1926, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late August and Gertrude (Vandenberg) Hendriksen, and on August 23, 1947, she was united in marriage to Allen Brettingen in Wauwatosa.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Allen; a son, Jeffrey (Christine) Brettingen of Kewaskum; two grandchildren, Nicholas Brettingen and Stefanie Brettingen, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Geraldine will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 15, 2008, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Rev. Mark Eckert will officiate and burial will be in Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 5:00pm until the time of services.
