Gladys J. Moritz, nee Weinert, 86, of West Bend, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend.
She was born on February 27, 1926 on the family homestead farm in the town of Trenton to the late Alvin and Frieda (nee Schoenbeck) Weinert. She was united in marriage to Warren K. Moritz on April 26, 1947 at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, West Bend. After their marriage, the couple farmed on Warren's family farm in the town of Wayne for several years. Gladys later worked as a nurse's aid at the Samaritan Health Center and the Cedar Lake Health Care Center. Warren passed away on September 13, 2003.
Gladys is survived by three children, Roger (Barbara) Moritz, Sheryl (David) Pajewski, and Marjorie (Allen) Latall, all of West Bend; a grandson, Joey Pajewski; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Robert Moritz, a sister, Darlene Mullins, a brother, Richard (Theresa) Weinert, and a sister-in-law, Hazel (Ray) Herman.
Private family services will be held and burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
