Gregory J. “Greg” Engelhardt, age 63 years, of Kewaskum found peace on December 20, 2018 at New Perspective Senior Living surrounded by his loving family, as a result from complications with a hard-fought battle with dementia.
Greg was born on January 31, 1955 in Milwaukee to John and Marjorie Engelhardt (Johnson).
After an early retirement from the family dairy distribution business, Greg enjoyed vacationing with family and friends and spending time with his grandchildren. He also had a deep passion for deer hunting and walleye fishing. When he wasn’t in the woods or on the water, he enjoyed rooting on the Packers and Brewers and cracking open a few beers with friends.
Those Greg leaves behind to cherish his memory include two children, Angie Grinwald and Austin (Brooke) Engelhardt; four grandchildren, Clayton Grinwald, Chloe Engelhardt, Carlie Engelhardt and Archer Engelhardt; two siblings, Guy (Sandra) Engelhardt and Susan (Alex) Kiss; He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, John and Marjorie Engelhardt (Johnson).
Greg’s family will greet relatives and friends at Myrhum Patten Miller Kietzer Funeral Home (1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095) on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 3 – 6 pm.

Greg’s family also extends their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at New Perspective Senior Living and Seasons Hospice in West Bend for the loving care and comfort they provided.
