Gregory P. Formella, 64, of Germantown, passed away suddenly and peacefully after a short illness on January 9, 2015 at his home.
He was born on Nov 3, 1950 to the late Lawrence and Dorothy (nee Lepinski) Formella in Stevens Point, WI. He graduated from Rhinelander high school in 1969. He later graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with an engineering degree in metallurgy. He was employed at the time of his death by Snap-On Tool in Milwaukee, WI. He enjoyed fitness training and his Porsche 911.
He is survived by his sister, Marilyn (Jim) Reppe of Eau Claire, Wis.;three nephews, Ernest (Christy) Reppe of Eau Claire, Wis., Peter Reppe of Hammond, IN, and Andrew Reppe of New Richmond, Wis.; four great nephews, Charlie, Manny, and Simeon Reppe all from Eau Claire and Paxton Reppe of New Richmond, Wis.; and by friends, Toby and Patty Netko of West Bend, Wis.
He is preceded in death by his parents
A memorial service in remembrance of Greg will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 am until the time of service.
