Harold Bath, age 76, of Kewaskum, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 2, 2006 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.
He was born on April 18, 1929 in Kewaskum, the son of the late Math and Olive (Fellenz) Bath, and on August 26, 1950, he was united in marriage to Adeline Kutz at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.
Harold served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed by the West Bend Company in West Bend, retiring in 1990 after 40 years of service and was a member of the 25 Year Club. Harold was also a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum and the Knights of Columbus Father Casper Rehrl Council 1964 West Bend.
Harold was a faithful, caring husband to his wife, Adeline for 35 years following a car accident. He will lovingly be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather who had a great sense of humor, enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Adeline; three children, Steven Bath (owner of Kettle Country Home Improvements), Connie (Rich) Marks and Debbie (Ray) Duenkel all of Kewaskum; a brother, Clarence Bath of West Bend; two sisters, Mary Ann Kutz and Alice Uelmen both of West Bend; a son-in-law, Ralph Seefeld of Campbellsport; ten grandchildren, Michelle (Nick) Walters, Christina (Pat) Janesch, Mark (Marie) Jaycox, Jr., Jeremy (Holly) Jaycox, Jenny and Brenda Jaycox, Stephanie and Jonathan Walters, Melissa Mirenda and Matthew Shoppach; eight great-grandchildren, William Walters, Samantha, Melinda and Kimberly Janesch, Jillian and Mark Jaycox, Jeremiah Jaycox and Damian Keys, other relatives, friends and his faithful companion, Gizmo. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Seefeld; a son-in-law, Mark Jaycox, Sr.; a great-grandson, Jeffrey Walters and two sisters, Florence Herriges and Delores Brodzeller.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street, Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and military honor rites followed Mass.
Relatives and friends called on Sunday at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services.
Cremation took place and burial of the cremains will be in the parish cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Cancer Treatment Centers of America or Kathy Hospice House were appreciated.
