Harold A. Grady, 84, of Cedarburg, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at The Lighthouse of West Bend.
He was born July 19, 1928 in Saukville to the late Henry and Ella (nee Niemeyer) Grady.
Harold was employed at Allen Engineering Co. in Milwaukee for 21 years, retiring in 1991. After retiring, he worked part-time at Trade Press in Glendale.
Harold enjoyed helping people. He was very generous, donating his time and money to many charities and schools.
He is survived by two daughters, Sandra Flasch and Karen Grady; three step-children, Edward (B.D.) Jors, Jane (Bob) Arens, and John Jors; 11 grandchildren, Jennifer (Phil), Kristin (Jason), Nicole, Angela (Troy), Kimberly (Nathan), Jonathan, Ryan (Jennifer), Brad, Sara, Wesley, and Andrew (Kimberly); 14 great-grandchildren, 5 step-great-grandchildren; a brother, Allen (Lenore) Grady; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Jors-Grady who passed away July 7, 2012; three sisters, Pearl Grady, Janet Steffen, and Lila Reblin; two brothers, Robert Grady and Donald Grady; and a son-in-law, Carl Flasch.
Funeral services in remembrance of Harold will be held on Saturday, August 11 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 166 W. Dekora St., Saukville. Rev. Rebecca Johnston will officiate and burial will follow in Saukville Union Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter's United Church of Christ or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
