Harriet P. Kelln

Harriet P. Kelln, age 91, of Fond du Lac, formerly of the town of Auburn, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011, at Manor Care Health Services in Fond du Lac.


She was born on August 25, 1920, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Martin and Pearl (Krzyzaniak) Wolniakowski and on June 21, 1941, she was united to marriage to Gottlieb Kelln at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Gottlieb preceded Harriet in death on August 16, 2004.


Harriet was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum, St. Matthias Catholic Chapel in the town of Auburn and a long time member of St. Matthias Altar Sodality.


Harriet will fondly be remembered as a wonderful, fun and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great granny. She loved to sing with the St. Matthias Choir, vacationing “up north”, winning at casinos and making bierucks “bittucks”.


Those Harriet leaves behind to cherish her memory include two children Sandra (Richard) Goslinowski of the town of Auburn and David (Beverly) Kelln of the town of Osceola; five grandchildren, Amy (Leonard) Flint, Michael (Buffy) Goslinowski, Kirsten Kelln, David (Laurel) Kelln and Elizabeth Kelln; 13 great-grandchildren, Trevor, Charissa, Jordan and Jenna Quinlan; Kayla, Kelsey, Kolton, Kegan, Konnor and Kiley Goslinowski; Benjamin, Abigail and Samuel Kelln; a sister-in-law, Ruth Dettman of Milwaukee, many beloved nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.


In addition to her husband and parents, Harriet was preceded in death by five brothers, Frank, Joseph, Louis, Leo and Chester Wolniakowski; four sisters, Helen Kolacki, Mary Wronski, Viola Werra and Julia Blaszkowski.


A Mass of Christian Burial for Harriet was held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2011, at St. Matthias Catholic Chapel, N1044 County Highway S, Campbellsport (in the town of Auburn). Father Elroy Pesch O.F.M. Cap officiated and burial followed in the chapel cemetery.


Relatives and friends called at the chapel on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.


Memorials to Friends of St. Matthias or the charity of one’s choice are appreciated.


The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Harriet’s arrangements.
