Harvey W. Jandre, 88, of Kewaskum, passed away on Monday, March 24, 2008, at Ivy Manor in Campbellsport.
He was born on April 4, 1919, in New Prospect, the son of the late August and Alma (Backhaus) Jandre, and on April 12, 1944, he was united in marriage to Felicia “Phyllis” Gruber at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in LeRoy. Phyllis preceded Harvey in death on October 20, 2002.
Harvey was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. He was employed by Regal Ware, Inc. in Kewaskum for 38 years and was a member of the 25 Year Club.
Survivors include three children, Dennis (Cecelia) Jandre of St. Cloud, Sharon (Rick) Jaeger of Hingham and Sandra (Mark) Falkner of Newburg; eight grandchildren, Bob Jandre, Annette (John) Pecora, Barb (Chris) Hiller, David (Kim) Jandre, Dawn (Trent) Donohue, Michael Jandre, Darryl (Melissa) Walden and Ryan (Mindy) Walden, 15 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Harvey was held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street in Kewaskum. Father Elroy Pesch O.F.M. Cap. officiated and entombment was at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.
Relatives and friends called at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Mass.
