Harvey P. Strackbein

Harvey P. Strackbein of West Bend, was called home to be with the Lord on April 5, 2022 at age 79.  He was born on October 3, 1942 in Milwaukee to Peter and Dorothy Strackbein.

Harvey was united in marriage on April 5, 1975 to Frances T. Strackbein (nee Owen).  He served in the Army National Guard from April 1964 to March 1970. Harvey was known throughout the Southern Wisconsin classic car community for his beloved 1933 Ford Victoria.

Harvey is survived by his wife, Frances; his children, David (Chris), Sharleen (Mike Barclay), Kristie (Jared) Krajenka; his sister, Betty (Dennis Durian) Suhr; and his five beautiful granddaughters, Anna and Ellie Strackbein, Lauren, Taylor and Katie Daute.  He is further survived by sisters-in-law, Rita Kurylo and Phyllis (Chuck) Klumb; brother-in-law, James (Karen) Owen; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors Program.

Visitation at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral and Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend, will be held on Sunday, April 24 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
