Hazel L. Endlich, (nee Klumb), age 90, of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Care Center of West Bend.
She was born on July 29, 1915 in Menomonee Falls to the late John and Olga (nee Schwalbach) Klumb. Following her high school graduation, Hazel was employed at Amity Leather in West Bend. Her faith led her to become a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend. She was united in marriage to Byron "Barney" Endlich at Trinity Lutheran Church on August 23, 1941. Together they enjoyed playing cards with several different card clubs. Barney preceded her in death on January 22, 1991. In 1952, Hazel began a new job as an office secretary at Maxon Imports in West Bend. She retired from Maxon's in 1979 so she could enjoy more time with her two wonderful grandchildren.
Hazel is survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Al Marschner of West Bend; her two cherished grandchildren, Andrew and Katie Marschner of West Bend; her sister-in-law, Julie Endlich of West Bend; and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, and two brothers.
A service of remembrance for Hazel will be held on Sunday, June 18, at 12:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Rev. Victor Hackbarth will officiate. Visitation with the family will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 am until the time of service at noon.
