Hazel B. Wolf, nee Plate, of West Bend passed away on Monday, April 9, 2007 at the Cedar Lake Health Care Center in the town of West Bend.
She was born on December 1, 1910 in Milwaukee to the late Frederick and Clara (nee Newlen) Plate. Hazel was united in marriage to William Henry Gruss in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1976. Following his death, Hazel was united in marriage to Arthur Wolf at Peace United Church of Christ in Kewaskum. Arthur preceded Hazel in death in 1992.
Hazel is survived by her son, William (Jackie) Gruss; her two grandsons, William (Liz) Gruss, and Matthew (Holli) Gruss; and three great-grandchildren, Meghan Gruss, and Keegan and Braeden Gruss. She is further survived by a sister, Helen Hanna, and other dear relatives and friends.
A funeral service in honor of Hazel will be held on Friday, April 13 at 11:30 am at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. A visitation with family and friends will be at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service at 11:30 am. Burial will take place in Wisconsin Memorial Park on Friday following the funeral service.
