Helen A. Helmle, age 79, of Silver Lake, West Bend, found peace on April 2, 2009.
She was born on February 9, 1930 in Madison to the late Anton and Julia (nee Buchmaier) Helmle, and graduated from Edgewood High School in the class of 1948. She then attended Beautician School.
Helen was united in marriage to Julius Helmle on September 3, 1956 in Arlington, VA, while Julius was in the military service. They resided in Milwaukee until moving permanently to their summer home on Silver Lake.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Julius G. Helmle; loving mother of, Mark A. Helmle; sister- in- law of, Ottmar Helmle, Eugene Helmle, Inge Meyer, Selma Fecht, Edith Helmle, and their loving spouses; aunt to, Ingrid Buchanan, Rose Saad, Steve Petrovic, Gus Petrovic, Thomas Koehler, and Thorsten Koehler, along with their spouses and all their loving children; beloved cousin of, George and Lucia Garner, Andre' and Evan Garner, Helmut Buchmaier, and family; Edward and Leni Lennox and family; Theresa Rothmayr, Elisabeth Riehr, Agnes Weiser, Carola and Friedel Wrana and family.
She will miss all her friends and family, but is only waiting to see us when we get there. We will miss you.
A memorial mass in remembrance of Helen will be held on Saturday May 9th at 1:00 pm at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (1025 S. 7th Ave.), West Bend.
Memorials to orphaned and abused children in lieu of flowers are appreciated.
