Helen M. Kemp (nee Turck), age 83, of West Bend, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
She was born in Saukville on February 20, 1922 to the late John and Louisa (nee Hahn) Turck. On July 29, 1939 she was united in marriage to Roland Kemp in Cedarburg. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1990. Helen was mainly a homemaker and she was also employed at Amity Leather. Her children and grandchildren were the most important part of her life.
Survivors include five children, Christine Kuechler of West Bend, Bradford Kemp of Tucson, AZ, Sarah (Gerald) Mann of West Bend, Jessica O'Loughlin of Charlotte, NC, and Randall (Sherry) Kemp of Theresa; 13 grandchildren, Jeffrey (Vicki) Kuechler, Scott Kuechler, Bruce Kuechler, Bart (Jackie) Kemp, Bret Kemp, Brock (Karin) Kemp, Mark (fiancAC.e Heidi) Mann, Edward Mann, John (Khara) O'Loughlin, James O'Loughlin. Rachael O'Loughlin, Stacie (Paul) Zwick, Nickolas Kemp; a grandson-in-law, Michael LaDuke; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; a sister, Marie Irwin of Port Washington; two sisters-in-law, Florence Carter of Fredonia, and Catherine Kemp of Cedarburg; a brother-in-law, Allen Wynkoop of Illinois; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Rickey Kemp; a granddaughter, Susan LaDuke; four sisters; and four brothers.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 15 at 10:00 a.m. at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend. Rev. Mark Berlin will officiate and all family as well as friends are welcome.
