Helen L. Kletti, (nee Arterburn), age 95, of Slinger, passed away Friday December 23, 2005 at the Hartford Health Care Center, in Hartford.
She was born on September 29, 1910 in Big Rapids, MI and at a young age moved with her family to Slinger. She graduated from Slinger High School in the class of 1929, and started working at the former Carbon Engineering Company in Slinger as a bookkeeper. On May 9, 1935 Helen was united in marriage to Norman Kletti in Slinger. Helen ran the home while Norman operated Kletti's Garage. He preceded her in death on April 14, 1996.
Helen was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Slinger, and active in the Women's Fellowship at church. She was an avid sheepshead player, candy maker, and enjoyed knitting for many families in Slinger.
She is survived by a son Ronald (Mary) Kletti of Slinger; a grandson Kurtis Norman Kletti; other relatives and friends; she was preceded in death by a sister Marion Wagner; two brothers Harry and James.
Funeral services to honor Helen's life will be held on Tuesday December 27th at 7:00 pm at St. John's United Church of Christ, Slinger (520 W. Washington St.). Rev. John Tschudy will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday at the church only from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Cremation will follow at Myrhum - Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend and burial of her cremated remains will be in Union Cemetery in Slinger. Memorials to St. John's United Church of Christ would be appreciated by the family.
