Helen W. Miller, nee Korntved, 86, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2007 at her granddaughter's residence in West Bend.
Helen was born on September 20, 1920 in Abbotsford, Wisconsin, to the late George and Esther (nee Sorlin) Korntved. She lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for several years until recently moving to West Bend to live with her granddaughter. Helen enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and playing cards. She also loved soaking up the sun.
She is survived by three children, Walter (Diane) Miller of McGregor, Iowa, Henry Miller of Kaukauna, and Betty (Kirby) Hoffman of Shawano; 12 grandchildren, Kimberly, Michelle, Dawn (Rick), Beth (Paul), Cheryle, Sandra (Rebel), Donavan, Johnathan, Bill Ray, Heather, Sara, and Shawn; nine great-grandchildren, Jeremy, Ryan, Jacob, Steven, Michael, Jason, Samantha, Bailey, and Darian; a great-great-grandson, Landon; a sister, Burnice "Billy" Rozich of Michigan; a sister-in-law, Grace Korntved of Michigan; special friends, Georgianne McCoy and Margaret Alderate, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Pete Miller, a daughter, Carol Zehren, a daughter-in-law, Chris Miller, and three brothers, Alvin Korntved, Mike Korntved and Leonard Korntved.
In accordance with Helen's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no funeral services.
