Henry Walter Hauser Jr.

July 13, 1937 — November 14, 2018

Henry W. Hauser Jr., age 81, of West Bend, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Henry was born in Milwaukee on July 13, 1937, to the late Henry Sr. and Pauline Hauser. He married the love of his life, Donna Coons and together raised two beautiful children. A graduate of Boys Tech, Henry worked as a tool and die maker at Briggs and Stratton for 47 years, always putting his all into everything he did, but especially in the love and care of his family. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, trap shooting, and fishing. The Wisconsin sports teams were particularly close to his heart. He remained a loyal fan throughout his life, rooting for the Brewers, Badgers, and the Packers. Whether he was traveling up north for a day outdoors or spending his time with his family, it would be time well spent. His affection, humor, and company will be dearly missed by all those who knew him.

Those Henry leaves behind to cherish his memory include his two children, Polly (Dave) Johnson and Ryan Hauser; five grandchildren, Mandy (John) David, Alissa Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Gavin Hauser, and Braden Hauser; two great-grandchildren, Emmett and Eleanor David; brother-in-law, Ben (Mary) Coons; cousin, Kurt Kinateder; Guy (Kathy) Mikkelsen and Niels Mikkelsen; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Henry is preceded in death by his wonderful wife, Donna; daughter, Liz Hauser; parents-in-law, Guy and Alice Coons; and step-mother, Barbara Hauser.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to Nichole Reno and Allay Hospice and to Sharon Zehren.

A graveside service will be held at Long Lake Cemetery in Florence County in spring.

The Myrhum Patten Miller and Kietzer Funeral Homes have been entrusted with Henry’s arrangements. Additional information and guest book may be found at www.myrhum-patten.com.
