Herbert J. Fry, age 61 of Wauzeka, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 6, 1946 in Ontonagon, MI to the late Harold M. and Isabelle (nee Gavin) Fry Sr. He was united in marriage to Gloria Ponath on June 24, 1968 in Washington County.
Herbert had worked as a punch press operator for ACD Tool & Die. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He especially loved tending his vegetable garden.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Gloria; his four children, Ann (David) Fry-Blank, Clarence (Julie) Elkins, Jon (Sara) Fry, and Chad (Laura) Fry; Eight grandchildren, AnnDrea Fry, Cierra Kurtzweil, Devan Elkins, Joshua Elkins, Samantha Elkins, Kali Fry, Trevor Fry, and Logan Fry. He is also survived by eight brothers and four sisters, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Tessa.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday, May 30 at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home in West Bend from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Cremation will take place at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend.
