Hilda L. Seefeldt, (nee Seyfert), age 92, of Kewaskum, passed away Friday December 26, 2008 at the Beechwood Rest Home in Beechwood.
She was born on May 2, 1916 on the family homestead farm in the Town of Addison to the late Henry and Hulda (nee Rosenthal) Seyfert. Hilda graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1934.
On October 26, 1947 Hilda was united in marriage to Oscar Seefeldt at St. Peter's United Church of Christ in the Town of Addison. Together they made their home on the Seefeldt farm on HWY S just north of Kewaskum. Oscar preceded her in death in 1973.
Hilda was a member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Kewaskum, and the St. Lucas Ladies Guild. She enjoyed traveling around the United States and to Germany.
Hilda is survived by three children, Carol (Gene) Bond of Preston, MN, Carlton (Sue) Seefeldt of Coloma, and Bethana (Linus) Herriges of Campbellsport; two grandchildren, Carrie (Len) Galatz of Hector, MN, and Luke Herriges of Campbellsport; three great-grandchildren, Spencer Dolly, Samuel Galatz, and Sierra Galatz; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a sister and her husband, Ruth and Carl Joedike.
Funeral services in remembrance of Hilda will be held on Monday December 29th at 1:30 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Rev. Troy Swenson will officiate. Burial will follow in Lutheran Memorial Park, Kewaskum. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 12:00 (noon) until the time of service.
