Ingeborg "Sue" Caputa, nee Zenke, 84, of West Bend, passed away Monday, February 12, 2007 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend.
She was born on January 31, 1923 in Berlin, Germany to the late George and Margarite (nee Schmitt) Zenke. She was united in marriage to Salvatore Caputa on January 21, 1950 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Milwaukee.
Sue worked at Bradley Village Pharmacy in Brown Deer for many years, and later at Kennely Pharmacy in Kewaskum. She was also a Girl Scout leader for several years. Sewing was her passion and she enjoyed sewing many things including wedding dresses, suits and costumes for family and friends.
Sue was the beloved wife of Salvatore for 57 years; dear mother of Robert, Marie and Carmello; loving grandmother of Michelle, Brian, Sal and Isabella; loving great-grandmother of Kara, Joseph, Luke and Jonathan; and dear sister of Roy. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Ray.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 16 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. 7th Ave., West Bend. Entombment will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield. Visitation will be at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend, on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also be at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
