Isabel D. Hambly, nee Kenney, age 84, of West Bend, passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend .
She was born on May 16, 1922 in Milwaukee, to the late James and Marie (nee Rebstock) Kenney. She attended River Side High School in Milwaukee and graduated on January 31, 1941. Isabel was united in marriage to Albert Hambly on May 29, 1943 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on October 29, 1980.
Isabel was a very devoted mother and simply loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed baking, creating ceramics, and colleting dolls.
Isabel is survived by her seven children, Joy (Robert) Weddig, of West Bend, Mary Ellen (Scott) Schultz, of Fond du Lac, Sherry (Paul) Wischer, of West Bend, Richard (Colleen) Hambly, of West Bend, Christine (Donald) Cartlege, of Grand Marsh, Dennis (Diane) Hambly, of West Bend, and Michael (Mary) Hambly, of Campbellsport. She is furthor survived by 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Albert H. Jr.; four sisters; and one brother.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at 6:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Rev. Michael Moran of St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Catholic Church will officiate and burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Menomonee Falls on Wednesday, December 27, at 11:00 am. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 26, from 3:00 pm until the time of service at 6:00 pm.
