Isaiah John Van Beek, cherished three-year old son of John and Rebecca “Becky” (Stoffel) Van Beek, of Campbellsport, left his worldly body on Tuesday, April 29, 2008, at his home surrounded by his family to be with the Lord after a courageous fight with leukemia that he so bravely fought.
Isaiah was born on April 25, 2005, in West Bend and was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. He will fondly be remembered for his love of John Deere tractors and dinosaurs and whose favorite outfit was a John Deere shirt, John Deere hat and his cowboy boots.
Isaiah will always hold a special place in the hearts of his parents; his brothers and sister, Zachary, McKenize and Elijah; his maternal grandparents, Zachary and Joan Stoffel of Kewaskum; his maternal great-grandparents, Alan and Peggy Stoffel of Kewaskum, Herman and Janis Berndt of West Bend; his paternal grandparents, James and Sue Van Beek of St. Kilian; his paternal great-grandparents, Clarence and Leona Van Beek of West Bend, Robert and Alice Fechter, Sr. of Saukville; his uncles, Owen Stoffel, Jacob Stoffel (fiancée, Sarah Cole, Isaiah’s godmother), Jim (Angie) Van Beek, Jr., Ken (Robine) Van Beek, Joe Van Beek, Isaiah’s godfather; his aunts, Mary (Corey) Forcier and Christine Van Beek (special friend, Christopher Ramirez); his cousins, Abby and Nicholas Van Beek; special friends, Brad (Becky) Domres, Isaiah’s godfather, many great-aunts and great-uncles, other relatives, friends and his Make-A-Wish dog, Honey.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Isaiah was held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 331 Main Street, Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath and Father Alois Van Beek concelebrated and burial was in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends called on Friday at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m., where a prayer service was held at 7:00 p.m.
