James Alexander, age 75, of the village of Cascade, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2005 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on May 9, 1930 in St. Louis, MO to the late Marvin and Kathryn (nee Fortune) Alexander. After high school he joined the Air Force to help protect our freedoms during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Corrine Rabe on October 6, 1956 in Denison, IA. She preceded him in death on December 3, 1985. Following his military service he began a career as a salesman in the printing industry. He eventually started a sales company of his own called Products for Printers, which he operated up until his death. James was a very loyal member of St. Andrew's Lutheran Church as well as several other clubs and organizations.
He is survived by his four children, Michael (Renee) Alexander of Allenton, David (Sue) Alexander of Naples, FL, Thomas (Elizabeth) Alexander of West Bend, and Karen (Larry) Hammen of Random Lake; six grandchildren, Stephanie, Stacey, Michael, and Carly Alexander, and Scott and Kati Hammen; other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and his sister, Mary Moulton.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 30, 2005 at 8:00 pm at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service of West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 pm until the time of service at 8:00 pm. Burial will take place on Saturday, October 1, 2005 at 9:30 am in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
