James S. “Jim” Becker, 55, of West Bend, formerly of Kewaskum, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 30, 2008, at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital in the town of Polk.
He was born on May 2, 1952, in West Bend, the son of Henry “Hank” and LaVerne “Tudy” (Terlinden) Becker.
Jim was employed by The Threshold, Inc. in West Bend for 36 years and very proud of his employment history. He was a member of St. Lucas Evangelical Lutheran Church in Kewaskum.
Survivors include his loving mother, Tudy Becker; two sisters, Gladys “Buffy” Seefeldt of West Bend and Judith “Judy” Becker of Brookfield; four nephews, Richard, Terry, Scott and Mark Glamann; four great-nieces and nephews, Brittany (Vito) Lanzone, Jonathan Glamann, Nicole (Marquis) Rosenburg and Brandon Glamann; two great-great nephews, Jonathan Glamann, Jr. and Joshua Rosenburg and a great-great niece, Jasmin Rosenburg, other relatives and friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, Hank Becker; his brother-in-law, Merlin Seefeldt; a great-nephew, Brian; an aunt, Ione Terlinden and an uncle, Sylvester “Tiny” Terlinden.
Funeral services for Jim were held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Rev. Timothy Henning officiated and entombment followed at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum in Fond du Lac.
Relatives and friends called on Wednesday at the funeral home from noon until the time of services.
