James J. Boylen "Bubba" (Jim), of Allenton, found peace on Saturday, January 24th, 2015 at the age of 56 in the comfort of his home surrounded by family and friends.
He was born February 24, 1958 in Prairie du Chien, WI, to the late Allen and Darlene Boylen. He married Cynthia "Cindy" on December 6, 1980. Jim loved camping, turkey and deer hunting with family and friends. Jim also loved working on older cars. For 33 years Jim worked at Thunder Pallet in Theresa WI, were he was also a co-owner along with Ben and Tom.
Jim is survived by his wife, Cynthia; two sons, Nicholas and Matthew; and brothers and sisters, Kathleen Fry, Steven (Cheryl) Boylen, Mary Kaye Gadouas, David (Denise) Boylen, Daniel (Lisa) Boylen, Marcia (Jack) Gadouas, and Randall Boylen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and other family and friends including family pets, Whiskers, Scooter, and Tyra.
Jim is preceded in death by his son, James Jr.; father, Allen; mother, Darlene; sisters, Susan and Donna; brother, Michael; brother-in-law, Michael Fry; best friend, Frank Fry; and other family and friends.
A visitation in celebration of Jim's life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at the Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W. Washington St. West Bend). Family remembrances will be shared at 5:00 pm and the family asks that everyone come with a favorite story or memory to share at that time.
Before Jim passed, he wanted to make sure we thanked all of his friends and family for all of their help and support.
