James Joseph Scott

James Joseph Scott, 85, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, with his family by his side.

James was born on February 25, 1939, in Milwaukee to the late Joseph and Florence (nee Gaszak) Scott. He graduated from Pulaski High School, class of 1958. James proudly served his country in the Army Reserves. He was united in marriage to Gale Gerke on February 16, 1963, in Milwaukee. James was a proud husband, father, grandfather. He read his bible faithfully and loved the Lord. James and Gale attended St. James Episcopal Church in West Bend.

Those left to cherish James memory include his wife of nearly 62 years, Gale; two children, Laura (Karl) Haines of Kewaskum and Steven Scott of West Bend; grandchildren, Blake Scott, Tsion, Shawn, and Franklin Purtell; sister, Renee Scott; brother, Orrin (Terri) Scott; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

VISITATION: James's family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: A memorial service for James will follow visitation at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Joseph Brath officiating the service.

The family would like to thank the staff at Serenity Villa in Campbellsport for their care and compassion for James over the past six months.
