James H. Starr, 66, of West Bend, passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital, West Bend.
He was born on June 14, 1942 in Hartford to the late Armond and Sybilla (nee Goetz) Starr. James graduated from Hartford High School in 1960. On June 1, 1963 he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Felder at St. Mary's Church in Richfield.
James was as the Director of Quality Control at Hader Seitz Manufacturing where he was employed for 44 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; four children, Daniel (Elizabeth) Starr of Hartford, Timothy (Sandy) Starr of Campbellsport, Sharon Starr of West Bend, and Donna Starr of West Bend; five grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer, Christopher, Alex, and Sarah; two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Smith of Johnson Creek, and Jean (Howard) Larsen of Hartland; his mother-in-law, Mary Nemec of Richfield, two sister-in-law, Evelyn (Orville) Day of Florida, and Dorothy (Willard) Wolff of Jackson; two brothers-in-law, Clarence (Jean) Felder of Ashippun, and Michael (Kathy) Felder of Hubertus; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. at the Myrhum - Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Burial will be in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
