Janet I. McBride, nee Klumb, 62, of West Bend, died Wednesday, January 12, 2005 at St. Joseph's Community Hospital, West Bend.
She was born on February 13, 1942 in West Bend to the late Raymond and Mabel (nee Roell) Klumb. She was united in marriage to Roy McBride on April 22, 1961 in West Bend.
Janet was a volunteer at the Washington County Historical Society for many years. She loved to play Bridge and was an avid traveler. She also enjoyed needlepoint, sewing, cooking, and refinishing furniture.
She is survived by her husband, Roy; four children, Jill (David) Justin of Brookfield, Lisa McBride of Kewaskum, Kay McBride of Milwaukee, and Michael (Gina) McBride of Kewaskum; a grandson, Zachary McBride; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Sara Klumb.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 17 at 6:00 p.m. at Myrhum - Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, West Bend, with Rev. Eric Kirkegaard of Peace United Church of Christ, Kewaskum, officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of the donor's choice are appreciated.
