Jarod Richard Kohrt, age 43 years, of Nashotah was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
Jarod was born on June 27, 1979 in Marinette, Wisconsin to Steve and Debby (nee Fisher) Kohrt. He was united in marriage to Laurel Brooke Will on April 23, 2016 in Ripon, Wisconsin.
Jarod graduated from Menominee (MI) High School in 1998. He continued his education at Northern Michigan University and graduated with his Bachelor of Science Degree in 2004. Jarod worked at Underground Pipeline Incorporated (UPI Manufacturing) in Eagle, Wisconsin.
Jarod was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and hiking. He was the Secretary of the Lake Area Club (N.A.) – Thursday Night Group. Jarod was the type of person to always go the extra mile for those who needed a helping hand. Most of all he loved spending time with his two children and dear wife, Laurel.
Those Jarod leaves behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Laurel; two children, Wesley John and Brynn Maxine; parents, Steve (Julie) Kohrt and Debby Kohrt; sister, Kristen (Jason) Parkhill and their children, Caleb and Zooey; sister, Trish (Tim) Dams and their son, Oliver; brother, Travis Cherney; and brother, Adam (Kristal) Barker and their children, Cole, Tenley, Blakely, and Crew; mother-in-law, Carol (the late John) Will; brother-in-law, John Will, and Grandma Carolyn Krueger (nee Gilman). He is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Jarod was preceded in death by father-in-law, John Will; Grandpa Gerald Krueger; paternal grandparents, William and Marian (nee Hudon) Kohrt; and maternal grandparents, Maxine (nee Wells) and Jack Fisher (DOD: 1955) and Leo Collings (DOD: 2008);
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 3:30 pm at Myrhum-Patten Funeral Home (1315 W Washington St. – West Bend, WI 53095) with Pastor Daniel Reehoff officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until 3:00 pm. Private family interment will be at Rosendale Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the Lake Area Club (N.A.), who were like a second family, and embracing him into their fellowship.
