Jean P. Commons, 83, of Newburg, formerly of Kewaskum, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2012, at her home.
She was born on April 6, 1928, in Grandville, the daughter of the late Ernest and Magnolia (Inman) Ponton, and on December 18, 1944, she was united in marriage to Clifford Commons in Hancock, Michigan. Clifford preceded Jean in death on November 13, 2007.
Jean was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be deeply missed by her family.
Those Jean leaves behind to cherish her memory include four children, Jim (Bonnie) Commons, Steve (Hollie) Commons, Sue (Donald) Verran and Dennis Commons; a sister, Pat Meier, ten grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Jean was preceded in death by a sister, Jeroline Gruel.
Private services for Jean were held.
The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum was entrusted with Jean’s arrangements.
