Jean C. Schafer, of Colgate, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, at St. Mary’s Ozaukee Hospital in Mequon.
She was born in Milwaukee the daughter of the late Albert and Mabel (Kiefer) Schafer.
Jean was a dedicated employee of Anderson & Associates Certified Public Accountants in Cedarburg for 40 years.
Survivors include her brother, John Schafer of Colgate, her co-workers, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services for Jean were held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2009, at the Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum. Rev. Barbara Picha officiated and burial was at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
Relatives and friends called at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services.
