Jeanette V. Cudnohoske

July 25, 1932 — June 10, 2023

Jeanette V. Cudnohoske (nee Kaniess), 90, of Kewaskum passed away on Saturday, June 10, 2023.

She was born on July 25, 1932 to the late Rev. Gerhard and Ruth (nee Orloff) Kaniess in West Bend, WI. Jeanette grew up in Kewaskum and graduated from Kewaskum High School in 1950. On May 15, 1952 she was united in marriage to Wallace Cudnohoske at St. Lucas Lutheran Church in Kewaskum. Jeanette worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital before working for Dr. Cesar Sison for over 30 years until retirement. She was a member of St. Lucas Lutheran Church helping in multiple different areas. Jeanette was an avid crocheter and knitter and regularly played bridge. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those Jeanette leaves behind to cherish her memory include her five children, Richard (Karen) Cudnohoske, David (Cheryl) Cudnohoske, Karen (Rodney) Bollinger, Dale (Lori Pritzl) Cudnohoske, and Jeanne (Rev. Earle) Treptow; 12 grandchildren, Eric (Paula) Cudnohoske, Amy (Brian Eilbes) Cudnohoske, Matthew (Samantha) Cudnohoske, Jason Cudnohoske, Danielle Bollinger, Cara (Todd) Ziesemer, Hope (Fiancé Nate) Bollinger, Chad Cudnohoske, Ryan Pritzl Jordan (Logan) Armijo, Bennett Treptow, and Ty Treptow; seven great-grandchildren, Kyelie (Matt), Miaella, Arianna, Jaxon, Cameron, Madelyn, and Mason; two sisters, Irene (Dr. Dan) Thearle and Judith (Roger) Groeschel; brother-in-law, Russell Breit; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Cudnohoske and her brother, Gerhard (Ruth) Kaniess Jr.

VISITATION: The family will greet relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 at St. Lucas Lutheran Church, 1417 Parkview Dr., Kewaskum, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

SERVICE: A memorial service in remembrance of Jeanette will be held at church at 11:15 a.m. Burial will be held at Lutheran Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jeanette’s name to St. Lucas Lutheran Church are appreciated by the family.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Rosewood Manor in Grafton and Cedar Community Hospice of West Bend for all their help and care.
