Jeanne F. Lehnerz, 83, of St. Michaels, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at the Samaritan Health Center in West Bend.
She was born on November 12, 1922 in West Bend, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Regina (Riley) Troedel, and on September 30, 1950, she was united in marriage to Albion Lehnerz at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend.
Jeanne was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels. She was a member of the Christian Women, was very devoted to the Holy Mother and was a volunteer at the Samaritan Health Center for many years. Jeanne enjoyed bowling and was an avid sports fan, especially of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Albion “Fuzzy”; five children, Christine (Roland) Stautz, John (Kathy) Lehnerz and Steven (Diane) Lehnerz all of West Bend, Paul (Lori) Lehnerz of Kewaskum and Jeff (Debbie) Lehnerz of West Bend; 12 grandchildren, Jonathan (Vicki) Lehnerz, Jarrod (Andrea) Lehnerz, Barbara (Christopher) Farrier, Regina, Joseph, Shannon, Jennifer, Adam, Sara, Brittany, Michael, Amanda Lehnerz, seven great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Jeanne was preceded in death by a son, Richard; three brothers, Howard, Lyle and Myles Troedel and two sisters, Myrna Hentz and Rose Marie Troedel.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jeanne was held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2006 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in St. Michaels. Father Edwin Kornath officiated and burial was at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 7 in the church cemetery.
Relatives and friends called on Friday at the church from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services.
