Jeanne A. Otten, (nee Boesewetter), age 84, of West Bend, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital in West Bend.
She was born on February 3, 1926 in West Bend to the late Ralph and Esther (nee Weiss) Boesewetter. Jeanne graduated from West Bend High School in the class of 1944. On November 6, 1946 Jeanne was united in marriage to William Otten in West Bend. William preceded her in death on June 3, 1988.
Jeanne worked as a secretary for Winninghoff & Bradley, Serigraph and Cedar Lake Home. She was a former member of Immanuel United Church of Christ in West Bend, the Kewaskum Country Cousins Homemakers Club and Toastmasters.
She is survived by her six children, Steven (Carol) Otten of Milwaukee, Michael (Linda) Otten of Wausau, Robert (Ruthi) Otten of Port Washington, Dion (Joan) Otten of Oshkosh, Jeffery (Pat) Otten of West Bend and Linda Otten of Mesa, AZ; eight grandchildren, Leigh Otten, Jennifer Otten, Brian (Iris) Otten, David (Tabetha) Otten, Deanna (Rich) Otten-Smith, JoAnna Otten, Michael (Sarah) Otten and Katie (Fiance Chris Jenkins) Otten; nine great-grandchildren, Gregory Otten, Mia Otten, Julia Otten, Ashley Otten, Macy Smith, Breleigh Smith, Kierra Otten, Alessandra Otten, and Angelina Otten; other relatives and friends.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her husband, William and two sons, Dennis and James.
A Memorial Service in remembrance of Jeanne will be held on Saturday, March 27th at 3:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington Street, West Bend with Chaplain Susan Kolb of Cedar Community officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 pm until the time of the service. Cremation took place at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral and Cremation Service.
Memorials in Jeanne's name to the Cedar Lake Home, Washington County Humane Society, are appreciated by the family.
