Jeanne C. Sanfilippo, (nee Lisinski), age 75, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2005 at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL.
She was born to the late Walter and Sophia (nee Fornalski) Lisinski on November 25, 1929 in Milwaukee. On September 3, 1949, she was united in marriage to Joseph S. Sanfilippo at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Milwaukee. Together resided in Milwaukee and summered on Silver Lake until 1963 when they built their year round home on Silver Lake, and later on Big Cedar Lake. Jeanne worked at Spage Company in Grafton for 10 years and then at the Washington County Dept. of Social Services for another 10 years until retiring.
Jeanne and Joe vacationed many times with their son, Joe, and his family at Ormond Beach, FL, which just a few years ago became their full time home. Jeanne loved to prepare large family meals and memorable desserts, which her grandchildren speak of often and will always remember.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph; two sons, Jon W. (Pam) of Slinger, and Joseph S. (Debra) of Minocqua; four grandchildren, Joseph E. Sanfilippo, Kerri A. (Robert) Loduha, Jessica M. Sanfilippo, and Jennifer L. Sanfilippo; two step-great-grandchildren, Ethan and Naomi Loduha; a sister, Mary Ann Lisinski of Milwaukee; other relatives and many friends.
Preceding her in death was a brother Chester; and a sister and brother-in-law, Tekla and George Leone.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, November 8th at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel at Holy Cross Cemetery in Milwaukee. Rev. Jeffrey Haines of St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church will officiate and burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday in the chapel at Holy Cross from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
