Jenny R. Pick, age 51, of West Bend, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2006 at her home.
She was born on November 22, 1954 in West Bend to Robert and Lois Pick. Jenny graduated from West Bend West High School, class of '73, and then attended and graduated from Luther College in Decorah, IA. Jenny was a substitute teacher for junior high classes in West Bend and Campbellsport.
Jenny was an active and life-long member of St. James Episcopal Church in West Bend. She was an active volunteer with the Washington County Humane Society. She enjoyed swimming and was a consistent blood donor in the hope of helping others.
She is survived by her parents, Robert & Lois Pick of West Bend; a sister, Suzanne Leto of Carpentersville, IL; two brothers, Robert Pick II of West Bend, and Carl "Cappy" (Barbara) Pick of Honolulu, HI; a niece, Amy (Christopher) Leto-O'Neal; three nephews, Anthony (Narcy) Pick, Timothy Andrew (Sara) Leto, and Robert Pick III; other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Pick.
A Mass of the Resurrection to celebrate Jenny's life will be held on Wednesday, January 25th at 1:30 pm at St. James Episcopal Church, West Bend. Fr. Russell Arnett will be the celebrant. A reception to meet the family and share memories will follow the Mass.
Memorials may be given to the Washington County Humane Society.
