Jerilyn L. “ Jeri” Norum was accepted into the loving arms of God The Father on Tuesday, May 20, 2008.
Jeri was born on July 31, 1943, in Milwaukee, the daughter of the late Ted and Ruth (Treichel) Spella, and on September 27, 1970, she was united in marriage to John Peter Norum in San Francisco.
Jeri was a manager with Pacific Telephone in San Francisco where she met her husband, Pete. For many years Jeri was an administrator with Industrial Graphics in Fredonia and Sheboygan Lutheran High School, and she was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church in West Bend. Jeri enjoyed traveling, gourmet cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John “Pete” of the town of Scott; three children, Melissa (George) Kreuzer Wendt of Beechwood, Meg (Pat) Shanahan of West Bend and JP Norum of Random Lake; three grandchildren, Greta Kreuzer, Joe and Emma Shanahan; a brother-in-law, Jim Wyman of West Bend; three stepbrothers, Fred Hadler and Kevin Hadler both of Cedarburg and Jerry (the late Nancy) Hadler of Libertyville, Illinois; a stepsister, Barbara (the late Andy) Koens of Cedarburg, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jeri was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Wyman.
Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date at the family farm.
