Jerome R. "Jerry" Spoerke, age 41, of West Bend, passed away Sunday March 2, 2008 at Life Care Hospital in Pewaukee.
He was born on July 14, 1966 in West Bend to the late James R. and Jeanne (nee Steffen) Spoerke. Jerry was raised in West Bend and graduated from West Bend East High School in the class of 1984. He enjoyed fishing, and music. Jerry tried his best to enjoy life given his health limitations. His family, especially his many nieces and nephews, meant everything to him.
Jerry is survived by five sisters, Susan (Neal) Curtis of West Bend, Elizabeth (John) Mutz of Slinger, Jennifer (Jeff) Howell of West Bend, Constance (Kurt) Willer of Hartford, and Cynthia (Kevin) Volm of Hartford; three brothers, James (Jan) Spoerke of Mequon, Richard (Mary) Spoerke of Colgate, and Jeffrey Spoerke of West Bend; a brother-in-law, Randy Danielson of West Bend; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A sister, Mary Kay Danielson, preceded him in death.
Funeral services in remembrance of Jerry will be held on Friday March 7th at 7:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home, West Bend. Rev. David LaPlante of St. Killian Catholic Church, Hartford, will officiate. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until the time of service. Cremation will follow at Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral & Cremation Service, and burial of his cremated remains will be held at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials to the American Diabetes Association are appreciated.
