Jesse M. Paul, 79, of Theresa, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Jesse was born on July 12, 1935, the son of the late Jesse and Virginia (Bloomfield) Paul, and on May 30, 1959, he was united in marriage to Janet Rassel at St. Joseph’s Church in Cudahy.
Jesse graduated from high school at the early age of 15. He later joined the navy for four years where he was an electrical instrument repairman. Jesse continued his work on electronics for the remainder of his working years at Picker X-ray fixing broken machines in hospitals. He will also be remembered for his love of the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
Those Jesse leaves behind to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 55 years, Janet; three children, Jim (Jennifer) Paul of Ellington, Connecticut, John Paul of West Bend and Joan (Dave) Bonack of Theresa; four grandchildren, Jesse, Joanna and Jack Paul all of Ellington, Connecticut and Jared Bonack of Theresa and a brother-in-law, Lawrence (Barbara) Rassel of Milwaukee.
In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by a son, Joe Paul and two sisters-in-law, Barbara Paul and Judy (Louis) Lehnhausen.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jesse will be held at Noon on Friday, May, 22, 2015, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Theresa. Rev. Tom Biersack will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
The Paul family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
