Joanne E. Strong, 72, of Lomira, formerly of West Bend, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2013, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
She was born on February 13, 1941, in Addison Center, the daughter of the late Leo and Pauline (Schmid) Wulff, and she was united in marriage to William Strong, who preceded her in death.
Joanne was employed by Tennies Ace Hardware in West Bend for over ten years, and also provided home daycare for many families. She was very proud of her grandchildren and enjoyed reading and quilting.
Those Joanne leaves behind to cherish her memory include two children, Brian (Lisa) Zangl of Brownsville and Debora Zangl of Slinger; two grandchildren, Alex and Kiersten Zangl; a grandbird, Princess Sophia, other relatives and friends.
In honor of her wishes, there was no visitation or funeral service.
The Kietzer-Miller Funeral Home in Lomira was entrusted with Joanne’s arrangements.
