John B. "Ike" Ibeme, Jr., age 9, of West Bend, went home to heaven with the angels on Friday, March 2, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
He was born on March 1, 1998 in West Bend, to John and Jodine (nee Paulson) Ibeme, Sr. Ike was currently in the 3rd grade, attending Kewaskum Elementary School. His family and class mates will miss Ike's warm smile and his willingness to share.
He is survived by his mother and father, Jodine and John Ibeme Sr. of West Bend; a sister, Olivia Ibeme and a brother, Kent Ibeme, both of West Bend; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Mary Lou and William Steiner of West Bend; maternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Jon and Linda Paulson of Eden; god parents, Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Bollen; spiritual counselors, Rev. Robert Hoehner, Rev. Christian Ikanih, and his family; his teachers at KES; other relatives and many school friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 17th at 12:00 (noon) at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, (809 S. 6th Ave.) West Bend. Rev. Robert Hoehner will officiate. Visitation will be at the church only on Saturday, beginning at 10:00 am, until the time of service at 12:00 (noon).
