John W. Korbar, 68, of West bend found peace on Thursday, February 15, 2018.
He was born on September 27, 1949 to the late John F. and Ethel M. Korbar in Milwaukee WI. In 1979 he married and had two children. John dedicated over 30 years of hard work to Brady Corporation. He was the type of man who always willing to lend a hand with a personality that others enjoyed. He was an adamant football fan who especially enjoyed watching his favorite team the Packers with his family. In his free time, he enjoyed playing golf with his brother, father in law and other close friends. John taught his family how to make sacrifices for loved ones and showed exceptional empathy towards any situation. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Those John leaves behind to cherish his memories his two children, Angela Heidewald and John R. Korbar; two foster sons, Robert (Vicki) Eversmann and Robin Eversmann; nine grandchildren, Chad, Chella, Asha, and John Heidewald; Brandon, Brent, Dominic, Daisy and Dakota Eversmann; three brothers, Gary, Robert, and Danny Korbar; a brother-in-law, Ron Szymczak; his former wife, Jennifer Tsuzuki-Korbar; other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Bonnie Szymczak and his best friend, Rick Huf.
A memorial service in remembrance of John will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Myrhum Patten Miller & Kietzer Funeral Home, 1315 W. Washington St., West Bend.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
