John P. Petts, age 67, of West Bend, passed away, Friday, June 4, 2010 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa.
He was born on January 20, 1943 to the late George and Christine (nee Thomas) Petts in Eagle River. Following his High School graduation, John enlisted in the United States Army and served his country honorably in the 101st Air Born. On April 2, 1966, he was united in marriage to Nannette Lagrow in Milwaukee. John was employed as a mason for Advanced Cast Stone in Random Lake.
He is survived by his wife, Nannette; four children, Randall, Brandon, Dawn (Kenny) Swosinski and Amber (Jimmy) Ferreira; four grandchildren Ryan, Elicia, Dakota and Madison; three sisters, Ceil Kohl, Glady Roman, and Helan Christman; four brothers, Bob Petts, Leo Petts, George Petts and Stan (Marg) Petts; other relatives and friends.
John is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, May Atkins and Fran Klemp.
A Memorial Service in honor of John will be held on Saturday, June 19th at 4:00 pm at the Myrhum ~ Patten Funeral Home in West Bend. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Washington County Memorial Park.
